We need your help….

The September Foundation Book sale is here. Items that are donated and/or weeded from our collection are regularly offered in our Gail’s Sales Room at the Main Library.

We got a lot of donations…when our shelves in our sorting room are full, we box the items and place them in storage for the Spring and Fall booksale.

Most items are offered for sale for $1 or $2, and the monies raised help the Foundation by supporting such initiatives as Summer Reading and various exhibits.

Task-

We will be unpacking approx. 50 boxes of Media (CD’s and DVD’s) in preparation for the booksale.

Items will be unpacked and organized in rows between bookend, which hold the materials in place).

Once items are unboxed, we will make sure all items are facing the same direction, and obvious duplicates are grouped together.

We will also pull out “Non-Fiction”, which is designated by a certain label, and place that on a separate table.

Any media that is Christmas related will also be pulled out, as we will be displaying that in a separate area.
