Former concert promoter and author Phil Brakefield, along with Sharry Blazier of the Elgin Public Museum, will share stories and live music snippets--from Frank Sinatra to Jimi Hendrix and many more.

Join us for an engaging night of stories, songs and sing-alongs with 60s & 70s concert promoter Phil Brakefield and Sharry Blazier of Elgin Public Museum. Phil will share some of his fond memories...hanging out with Jimi Hendrix, Frank Sinatra, Glen Campbell and Donovan, among many other musical superstars. Sharry will join Phil to sing a few songs, have a few laughs and get the audience to sing and clap along. Phil will sign copies of his book: Life, Dogs and Rock 'N Roll following the program. You won't want to miss this one!
