Learn about how 3D printing works and design your own special creation! Registration Required.

Registration for this program opens on April 15, 2026. Please register each child separately.

Please note this program will be held in the Computer Training Room in the Computer Lab.

Come learn how a 3D printer works, how to navigate 3D design software, and how to make your own cool creation to take home. This is a great starting place if you have never done 3D printing before and want to give it a try!

Please note that while participants will design their own creation to take home, due to the time intensive nature of 3D printing, their creations will be available for pick up 3-4 weeks after the program date. Exact details on how to do so will be given at the program.

If you are unable to attend the event, please call 847-429-4685 as soon as possible. This allows another student on the waitlist to attend with adequate notice. We will be taking attendance at the programs, and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the wait list if they are found to be consistently absent from programs.
