Roly-poly bugs, or pill bugs, are fun to find and observe. Join us to learn about these animals and create a roly-poly habitat that any critter would love to call home. Registration is required.

Grades 1-5.

This program has supplies to be picked up at the library. All registered participants will receive an email with the class zoom login and instructions on picking up materials for the program from drive-up window at the Main Library (address:  270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin) from Monday, June 15-Sunday, June 21.

Program supplies in the bag:

1 plastic container 
1 Habitat log sheet 
1 Roly-Poly paper craft instruction sheet 
7 brown cardstock triangles 
1 small googly eye 
1 small brad/paper fastener 
1 2”x 2” square black construction paper 

Please cut out your 7 brown triangles, 7 black legs, and 2 antennae before the program.  Please ask your adult to put a hole with a push-pin or needle in the corner of your triangles as well.

Program supplies to gather from home:

Glue Stick 
Black Marker 
Scissors 
Push pin or needle (to make a hole for craft)
