Please fill out application for participation in program.

Description: Sanctuary Poets is inspired by June Jordan’s “Poetry for the People,” and MFA writing programs. For 6-weeks, participants will enroll in a weekly poetry seminar. Rather than specifically targeting one demographic, Sanctuary Poets seeks to model the inclusive nature of a sanctuary - meaning people of various backgrounds will gather in a central place. The same group of poets will be in each seminar, so they can form a sense of community. All will be welcomed; only curiosity is needed.

Disclaimer: The information collected in this form will be used for the sole purpose of gathering information on the diversity, experience, childcare and transportation needs of attendees. It will be used in the planning of the workshop's content. Contact information will be used for communication purposes. None of your information will be shared with anyone outside of the Sanctuary Poets.
