Free tax preparation for individuals and families who qualify for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Specific dates offer drop-off services only.
In partnership with Livingston Taxes, Gail Borden's Main Library is a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) location. VITA provides free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, limited English speaking taxpayers, and seniors who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. Drop off VITA tax preparation by preparers with Free For You Services will be offered at the Gail Borden Library from January 27, 2022 to April 16, 2022.
