This program is brought to you through a grant from the National Genetics Education and Family Support Center in conjunction with Global Genes and in partnership with Black Women’s Health Imperative & Rare Disease Diversity Coalition.

Your family health history could be the key to your health and the health of your children. Knowing your family health history can help you find out if a disease might run in your family, learn about signs to watch for, or if it would be beneficial for you or your family members to have diagnostic medical tests before a health condition may become a problem. It also helps your doctor to start treatment earlier, if needed.
