We're having a book party & you're invited! Meet Slice, Scoop & Totz- brave foods who keep Belching Walrus Elementary safe for all students & make a mini donut box. Registration required.

***NOTE:  Please register separately for each child planning to attend this program.***

Take a bite out of the funny series, Bad Foods, when we explore the book Live and Let Fry. In this book, Slice, Scoop and Totz meet a family of donuts while they work to keep Belching Walrus Elementary safe for all. Join us to read and discuss a bit of this book and make a mini donut box. Registration required. 

   

This program has supplies to be picked up at the KidSpace Youth Reference Desk at the Main Library (270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin). Program supplies will be ready for pick-up between Monday, Feb. 12th through Thursday, February 22nd.  All registered participants will receive an email with the zoom login prior to the program date.  

If you would like to pick up the supplies at the Main Library Drive-up Window instead of inside the library at the youth desk, please call the youth desk at 847-429-4685 at least ONE HOUR before arriving at the library.  

Program supplies in the bag:

1 sheet titled "What Would We Find in Your BAD FOOD Lunchtray?"

1 Donut template/pattern half sheet on white cardstock

1 round cardboard container

Squares of construction paper- various colors

1 strip that says "DONUT touch my treasures!"

2 googly eyes

Program supplies to gather at home: 

Scissors

Coloring tools- colored pencils, markers, crayons- your choice!

Pencil

White colored pencil (for tracing on dark colors) if you have one

Glue stick

If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel your registration so a student on the waitlist can join the event.  We will be taking attendance at the programs and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the waitlist if they are found to be consistently absent from the Zoom event part of the program.
