Virtual Kids Explore: Your Amazing Brain (K-5 on ZOOM)

Did you know that EVERY TIME you learn something new that wrinkly pink blob inside your head changes its structure? Let's explore our amazing brains and make a brain cap. Registration required.

Your brain contains about ONE BILLION microscopic cells called neurons organized in different sections that help you learn, speak, feel and even keep your balance when you ride your bike. Let's explore our amazing brains by making a brain cap showing what each part of our noggin helps us do.  Registration required.  

This program has supplies to be picked up at the KidSpace Youth Reference Desk at the Main Branch, 270 N. Grove Ave, Elgin. Program supplies will be ready for pick up between Monday, Jan. 15th and Sunday, Jan. 21st.  All registered participants will receive an email with the Zoom login prior to the program date. If you would like to pick up the supplies at the Main Library Drive-Up Window instead of inside the library at the Youth Desk, please call the youth desk at 847-429-4685 at least one hour before arriving at the library.

If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your registration so a student on the waitlist can join the event.  We will be taking attendance at the programs and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the waitlist if they are found to be consistently absent from registered programs.
