Virtual Kids Explore: Lucky or Unlucky? (K-5 on ZOOM)

Pick up kit at Main Library from Mar. 11- Mar. 17.

Do you have a "good luck" object? All around the world, different cultures believe in different superstitions. Let's discuss them and make a "lucky" craft or two. Registration required.

Have you ever heard the saying "Find a penny, pick it up. All the day you'll have good luck"? This is just one common superstition that many people believe in.  Let's discuss different "good luck/bad luck" ideas from different cultures and make a "lucky" craft or two.  Registration required.  

This program has supplies to be picked up at the KidSpace Youth Reference Desk at the Main Branch, 270 N. Grove Ave, Elgin. Program supplies will be ready for pick up between Monday, March 11th and Sunday, March 17th.  All registered participants will receive an email with the Zoom login prior to the program date. If you would like to pick up the supplies at the Main Library Drive-Up Window instead of inside the library at the Youth Desk, please call the youth desk at 847-429-4685 at least one hour before arriving at the library.

If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your registration so a student on the waitlist can join the event.  We will be taking attendance at the programs and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the waitlist if they are found to be consistently absent from registered programs.
