Are you new to leading storytime or want to get fresh ideas? Join us for this in-person session focused on Storytime 101, the basics of storytime.

  • This series of five workshops begins with this in-person session at Gail Borden Public Library.
  • Follow-up workshops will be conducted virtually via Zoom, with recordings available afterward for registered participants. The in-person, 3-hour workshop will provide an overview, while the subsequent 1-hour virtual sessions will focus on specific themed skills, allowing for a deeper dive into each topic.
  • To register, please enter your library name as the first name and "Public Library" (or just "Library" if not public) as the last name. For example, "Gail Borden" would be in the first name box and "Public Library" in the last name box. Please answer the three custom questions regarding the approximate number of attendees (an estimate is fine), whether staff will attend in person or want recording only, and if you would like to participate/receive recordings of the follow-up workshops—registration is required in all cases. The dates and times of the themed virtual workshops are listed below.
  • Feel free to contact Katie Clausen (kclausen@gailborden.info or 847-608-5205) with any further questions or for additional information.
