Join Ms. Carrie to explore unique art this summer. We'll learn about an artist or medium, but we'll spend most of our time MAKING ART! We'll use our senses to create abstract art like Kandinsky!
Best for Grades K-entering 6th in the fall.
Synesthesia is a condition where one sense triggers another. Some people with synesthesia smell something when they hear a sound, or see a shape when they eat a certain food. Artist Wassily Kandinsky saw colors when he heard music and heard music when he was painting. Let's use our senses to create an abstract art piece like Kandinsky!
If you register but later are unable to attend the event, please call 847-429-4685 to cancel as soon as possible. This allows a student on the waitlist to join the event. We will be taking attendance at the programs, and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the waitlist if they are found to be consistently absent from programs.
Is the program full? Be sure to register your child for the waiting list. We do our best to accomodate interested participants.
