Conoce una ofrenda tradicional del Día de Muertos y el significado de sus elementos. Ven y disfruta de esta experiencia.

La Ofrenda Comunitaria se ha convertido en algo más que una simple exposición, es un espacio para la reflexión, la sanación y la conexión cultural. Sigue fortaleciendo los lazos comunitarios, fomentando el entendimiento intercultural y celebrando el poder perdurable de recuerdo y la tradición. La Ofrenda comunitaria estará del 23 de octubre al 6 de noviembre en el Salón Elgin, en el segundo piso de la biblioteca. 

¡Sé parte de la ofrenda! envía una foto digital de un ser querido antes del 12 de octubre. Envíalo por correo a:photos@gailborden.info o por texto al 847-857-7740 incluye tu teléfono, tu nombre y el de la persona de la foto.

Day of the Dead Community Ofrenda

Learn about a traditional Día de Muertos ofrenda and the meaning behind its elements. Come and enjoy this meaningful experience.

The Community Ofrenda has become more than just an exhibit—it is a space for reflection, healing, and cultural connection. It continues to strengthen community bonds, promote intercultural understanding, and celebrate the enduring power of remembrance and tradition.

The Community Ofrenda will be on display from October 23 to November 6 in the Elgin Room, on the second floor of the library.
