WGN TV's Chief Political Analyst Paul Lisnek kicks off the new year with an update on the current state of Illinois politics and the 2026 Midterm Elections.

Award-winning television host and political analyst at WGN-TV, Paul Lisnek, presents the first program in this Civic Awareness Series. He will lead a thoughtful discussion on the current state of affairs in Illinois politics and tell us what to expect in 2026. This program is presented by the League of Women Voters of the Palatine, Schaumburg and Barrington areas and a consortium of Illinois libraries.
