Exploring books- one title at a time! Join Ms. Carrie to read a selection from the book series Murray and Bun, and make a troll craft. Registration required.

Important notes:  Registration for this program starts February 15, 2026. Please register each child SEPARATELY. 

Murray is a magician's cat- and his owner, Fumblethumb, is not very good at magic. Fumbly did manage to enchant Murray's cat door, so passing through it takes him, and his BFF, Bun, to unusual places. Join Ms. Carrie as Murray sets out on adventure to save a missing Viking, Eggrik, and take care of a troll problem in the book Murray the Viking. We'll do some related activities and make a troll craft. This is a ONE HOUR program running from 4-5pm.

If you register but later are unable to attend the event, please call 847-429-4685 to cancel as soon as possible.  This allows children on the wait list to join the event with adequate notice. We will be taking attendance at the program, and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the wait list if they are found to be consistently absent from programs.
