Join us for a group discussion of this year's Great Lakes Great Reads adult pick, The Gales of November: The Untold Story of the Edmund Fitzgerald by John U. Bacon.

Great Lakes Great Reads aims to inspire passion and connection to the Great Lakes Watershed through reading. This year's book, The Gales of November, is the definitive account of America’s most haunting maritime disaster and a fascinating look at the history of Great lakes shipping, the sailors and their families who dedicated their lives to the lakes, based on more than 100 interviews with the families, friends, and former crew mates of those lost.

Copies of the book are available throughout the library, via interlibrary loan, and online on Hoopla and Libby.
