The Kane County Clerk's Office and the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) will help prepare and file petitions for community members with the assistance of volunteer attorneys from Kane County.

Please register, due to limited availability.

Thousands of Illinois citizens are impacted by their criminal records in housing, employment and multiple other aspects of productive society. Our work allows community members to have a fresh start by providing access to legal assistance for people who would not otherwise be able to afford it.

The clinic will be run by three attorneys and 2 non-attorney professional pro Bono COORDINATORS from Prairie State and PILI. The clerk's office will be on site to file petitions that are prepared by licensed volunteer attorneys who work in and around Kane County.
