Join us as we transport soil into our Rakow Branch garden beds! Please note that this session will include outdoor physical labor.

Gail Borden Public Library District's Rakow Branch is known for its sustainability and green features!
Did you know our Rakow Branch has a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification? 
The Rakow Branch has been granted this certification due to its many green features, including but not limited to a geothermal well system, solar heat transfer, low-emitting materials, and its gardens!
This is where you come in. Our Rakow Branch needs help transporting soil into our new garden beds to begin the process of planting for the upcoming season. If you are physically able, eager to help, and love the outdoors, we'd love to have your help!

We will be working outside, so please dress appropriately.
