Película basada en la historia real de José M. Hernández, hijo de trabajadores agrícolas migrantes en California, quien pasó de trabajar en los campos junto a su familia a cumplir su sueño de convertirse en astronauta de la NASA. 
Esta conmovedora historia celebra la familia, la educación, la perseverancia y la determinación para superar obstáculos y nunca renunciar a nuestros sueños. 
Protagonizada por Michael Peña y dirigida por Alejandra Márquez Abella.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a screening of A Million Miles Away, an inspiring film based on the true story of José M. Hernández, the son of migrant farmworkers in California, who went from working in the fields alongside his family to achieving his dream of becoming a NASA astronaut.

This moving story celebrates family, education, perseverance, and the determination to overcome obstacles and never give up on our dreams.

Starring Michael Peña and directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella.

Free and open to the community.

Film presented in Spanish with English subtitles.
