Join us to watch the Emmy winning film "The Librarians". Q&A to follow with the library's CEO and COO. Please register

The Librarians is a powerful documentary directed by Kim A. Snyder that follows school and public librarians across the country who find themselves on the front lines of the fight against book bans. The film documents librarians facing harassment, threats, job loss, and efforts to criminalize their work simply for defending access to books and the freedom to read.  After the screening, Chief Executive Officer Carole Medal, and Chief Operating Officer of Library Services Sara Sabo, will be available to answer any questions the filmed may have raised about censorship, intellectual freedom, or the library's own policies and practices.
